SFS 6002 electrical safety training is a requirement for all the personnel conducting work on electrical field. Training is valid 5 years at the time. This training is based on fifth edition of SFS 6002: 2025: sv as safety standard was updated on February 2025.
Training must be given to all personnel including e.g, electricians, technicians, management, supervisors, commissioning personnel. Training includes topics like, electrical hazards, regulations, risk evaluation, planning, personnel, working methods, ppe and tools. SFS 6002 sets the requirements for safe working in and near electrical facilities. These requirements also include non electrical work near these facilities, such as maintenance, excavations, scaffolding, painting, transportation, lifting etc.
