Now a More Flexible Way to Earn the Occupational Safety Card

At TVA, for a long time, we’ve been looking for a way to make our  Occupational Safety Card training more convenient for both employees and employers. As this was made possible by the organising rules set by the Center of Occupational Safety we decided to do something about this.

The traditional format works well, but it also means setting aside an entire working day for either a classroom session or a full-day webinar. We kept asking ourselves a simple question: is there a way to keep the same quality and the same nationally recognised certificate while making the training fit more naturally into people’s working lives?

Sometimes the situation resembles military service: You are rushing to wait. Meaning that there is a lot to do, a lot of traveling and many idle hours at the hotel. Then when all else is done and you finally get to the work site, you spend the first few days doing trainings and not your actual work. Well, from now on you can do half of this training remotely according to your own preferred schedule!

Over the past months, our team has been working to make this possible.  We rewrote course materials, built new technical solutions, and redesigned the learning experience from the ground up. The goal wasn’t to add new features for the sake of it, it was to save our customers time and make the training easier to fit into a busy schedule.

The result is our new multiform Occupational Safety Card Training. Full day training, refresher course is then another matter

How it works

Instead of completing the entire course during one seven-hour session (+ the exam afterwards), you now have another option.

You begin with the eLearning part, which covers half of the course. You can complete it whenever it suits you: during a quiet afternoon, over several shorter sessions, or even while travelling. As long as you have time and space to concentrate and an internet connection, you’re free to learn at your own pace.

After successfully completing the eLearning section, you have 10 weeks to attend a half-day webinar that completes the practical and interactive part of the training.

When you finish, you receive exactly the same nationally recognised Occupational Safety Card as participants who choose the traditional classroom or full-day webinar format.

More flexibility, same certification

The new multiform course doesn’t replace our existing training options.

If you prefer, you can still choose the traditional classroom training or attend a full-day webinar. Those formats remain available (on business client request).

The multiform option simply gives you another choice – one designed for people who value flexibility and for employers who want to minimise time away from work.

By moving half of the course into self-paced eLearning, we’ve reduced the live webinar from a full day to just half a day, without changing the learning objectives or the certificate you receive.

Why we believe this is better

For employers, it means less downtime and fewer scheduling headaches.

For participants, it means learning at a comfortable pace instead of trying to absorb everything during a single long day.

For everyone, it means earning the same Occupational Safety Card in a way that better matches today’s working life.

We’re excited to finally offer this new training format, and we hope it makes Occupational Safety Card training a little easier for every team we work with.

Ready to try the new format?

If the multiform Occupational Safety Card Training sounds like the right fit for your team, you can book your place directly in our online shop.

How to Design an Absence Monitoring System That Actually Tells You Something
